Help us create a list of crab-friendly businesses who are making the compassionate choice not to sell hermit crabs as trinkets. Please use this pledge card, talk to your local souvenir shops, and urge them to sign on to stop the cruel trade of plucking these animals from the wild and shipping them to stores, destined for death. Then come back here and report any confirmed businesses to us! We’ll let you know where to send in your pledge card(s), and then we’ll add them to our list. For stores that are already selling hermit crabs and won’t make the switch, please ask the manager to, at the very least, display our care guide so that customers will have a better understanding of the huge commitment required to care for a hermit crab.
